When I was a little kid I used to have bad night terrors all the time that would jolt me out of my sleep at night, I would feel like I was screaming but never made a sound but the odd thing about this was that when I would be woken from these terrors it always felt like something was shaking the foot of my bed not roughly though just enough to wake me up from the nightmares and when I would open my eyes I would always see the same figure standing there at the foot of my bed smiling at me and telling me it was only a dream and now that I'm here it was safe for me to go back to sleep and seeing this figure always had the same effect on me. He truly did calm my fears and I would feel safe and be able to go back to sleep without having to worry about another night terror bothering my that night. In the back of my mind I always had a feeling it was my grandfather who was the one to come in and comfort me, which to this day makes me smile to know he cared enough for me to make late night visits to put my mind at ease. I love you
